Bed and Breakfast - Access Statement
Introduction
We aim to cater for the needs of all visitors in our home
based on 3 bedrooms bed and breakfast. The following statement
is a summary of our provision. If you have any specific
questions please feel free to call and we will endeavour
to help.
Pre-Arrival
There is a bus stop at the end of our road 500yds and a
frequent bus service.
The main train service is 30 minutes away by car. There
is a local taxi service that has accessible taxis if required;
we can make bookings for you. Brochures and menus can be
provided in large print by prior arrangement.

Arrival
& Car Parking Facilities
On arrival to the property there is a gate which is open
to both the north and south of the house
No marked parking bays but there is ample room for all cars.
The surface is level you walk out the gate to the front
entrance
We can assist guests with their luggage
The village is a few minutes walk down a small hill from
the bed and breakfast.

Entrance & Reception.
The front door has one step 15cm high the front door is
locked but does have a bell
The door is 96cm wide.
On entry into our home there is a hallway 2 by 2 metres

Areas - General (Internal)
Our doorways to the ground floor lounge and dining room
is 150cm by 150cm
Corridors are well lit and good colour contrast.
The covering to the stairs and corridors is short pile carpet.
There are 12 stairs to the landing and another 1 step to
1 bedroom and then another 1 step to 2 bedrooms.
The stairs are 18cm high, 25cm deep and 90cm wide.

Areas
Bedrooms are all en suite, no public WC available.
Dinning Room & Lounge Ground Floor.
Lounge
has a laminated floor and has a large settee 2 large chairs
2 pouffe and 2 other chairs, coffee table, TV, and bookcase
there are games if you require.
Dinning
room has a short pile carpet. Tables have under space of
66cm high by 90cm square and 78cm height at corners with
legs. There are chairs with and with out arms to accommodate.
Menus
are provided in large print
Laundry. Available if requested. Drying facilities for outdoor
clothes

There are 2 singe beds with approximately 60cm between beds
and 100cm at the bottom to the wardrobe at the side of 1
bed is draws with a width of 45cm.
Beds is 50cm high but can be raised with blocks on request.

Fitted short pile carpet on the floor.
Good contrast décor.

We have an enclosed garden for you to sit in with borders
and lawn

Information
Dogs are welcome but kennelled outside
Mobile phone signal is generally good
We use the front door for evacuation. In the case of fire
there are emergency lights and fire alarms. If you may require
more assistance for evacuation please notify us on your
arrival and we will ensure you are evacuated safely e.g.
hearing impairment.
We are
happy to take delivery of hire equipment (please let us
know if ordered - telephone numbers below for hirers)
We are a no smoking building (you may smoke in the garden
which has leve entry and bins provided)
We supply a fridge for medication drinks or food also freezer
if required
